Contending many can be reversed through changes in lifestyle choices and supplementation of vitamins and minerals.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study of the microbiome. Finding a link between gut bacteria and cardiovascular diseases. A microbial imbalance can increase the risk of major factors that are linked to heart problems. Atherosclerosis and hypertension increase the risk of cardiovascular events and are linked imbalances in gut bacteria.
